Power Flying at Wittering

It is becoming obvious that we have a lax system of controlling the power flying at Wittering. From immediate effect, all power flying that is operating under the control of Four Counties at Wittering, that intends to leave the circuit must book out in the replacement book that I will put onto the control caravan. This also applies to visiting power aircraft to 4 Counties.

The pilot of the aircraft should then inform the duty instructor when he/she has reached their destination and when they propose to return. If the stated return time is going to change, an update should be given.

If you are flying mid week, it is up to the pilot to liase with ATC at Wittering with the above information. If the tower is closed then you will need to inform myself or Richard Walker that you have returned safely.

We have been lucky so far and have not had to take overdue action, I would like it to stay that way
