I have been talking to some of the Lyvden guys and they are considering an exped out here next summer. If anyone is interested then let me know. The aim is to stay at my place which can sleep 8-10 people coforbtably and fly at either Benesov ( 20 miles away) or Letnany (3 Miles away) he disadvantage of Letnany is it is under Prage airspace so heading west is outof the question and there is a 3000ft restriction over the site.

My place has Garden and pool so if quite nice and will keep cost down, not that CZ is expensive. A meal in a normal pub resteraunt is about £3-10 depending on what you want, a pint is about 50p in a pub and about 20p from Tesco's deisel is about .90p a litre.

I just checked and the price for a 10M trailer in Norfolk line is £100 return and from Dunkirk its 10 hours driving at 65 mph to here ( about the same as going to Lusse or Libertingen) and it is dual carrigeway all the way.

Thereare good conditons here in summer with 7,000ft cloudbase and 8-10kt thermals Terrain varies from the mountains to the North and East up to 4,500ft and large flat areas, and gently rooloing countryside.

There are few airspace issues and a large number of airfields and grass strips so there is always somewhere to land as long as you make the decision in good time

Benesov has a Blanik 2 Super Blaniks an acro and a K21 as well as 2 glass single seaters for hire.

If anyone is interrested in what could be a cheap gliding holiday then let me know
