I am looking for a motor glider and may have found a Grob 109B at the right price with the right sotr of hours in Germany with the wing fold gear and possibly a trailer.

The guy doesnt speak english so I am getting one of the girls here who does to translate for me. I might look for 1 partner if anyone is interrested. There is also a Falke 2000 with Cs prop FLARM LX 5000 as well for sale that I may go look at but as the wings dont fold it may be more of an issue

I might syndicate 1 or2 shares so any interrested parties please form a disorderly queue

I also get the impression its not being sold by the owner, given the wholesale copy and paste from G-INFO which makes up the content of the ad!
I asked him a question about hours/launches, what site it flew from and why he was selling. Got this answer:

Dear peteasw20,

I DONT HAVE THE DOCUMENTS YET AS IT WAS A REPOSSESION,SO MAY OR NOT GET THEM,THEREFORE WILL BE REFLECTED IN VALUE,IT IS IN REMARKABLE CONDITION,GEL COAT ETC,I HAVE IT ON AN INTERNATIONAL SITE TOO AND MAY SALVAGE IT IF I HAVE TO,HAVE HAD OFFERS JUST FOR THE COCKPIT ALONE ETC ETC,GIVE ME A CALL IF I CAN ASSIST,CHEERS CHRIS 07956-119717,DOMESTICS1@AOL.COM

Can you say scam?

Come to think of it, Mark, are you holding shares in a G109 for a friend in Lagos, who simply must get his assets out of the country, and is willing to pay handsomely for a small up front arrangement fee? :D

Ask him a few more questions pete - string him along a bit. and ask him about the registered keeper stuff and changing it without paperwork wont happen!!

tell the guy that he cant sell it to fly without the docs etc

this could get fun to watch!

Was that your question Alex? Or has someone else sniffed him out?

Looks like he's been shut down now anyway...

I can not take credit for the second question. It was not me.
