Inter-unis at Bicester

Postby sam » Thu May 27, 2010 7:34 am

Hi there guys,

For the first time in a few years we have got a decent team together for the inter-unis. Our plan is to take the k-13 down to Bicester for the week (7-15th August) and fly the arse off it. There are a few solo people going at the moment but also quite a few people who are still learning. Because of this I would like to ask if there are any half/full cat instructors who would be able to help us out at all during the week? Bicester have guaranteed the uni clubs one instructor for the week which doesnt really help because of the number of people going. Also we have the issue that being insured under the GSA we need a GSA instructor to fly the turd. We have a lot on our side at the moment because as Im sure a lot of you know we currently have quite a few members coming up to solo standard and because were into exams and then summer they might not get many opportunites to fly between now and bicester. If we could send a few solos in the week then weve got a great chance of winning.

If there are any instructors out there who might be willing to help out for a day or a couple of days or whatever then that would be amazing.

If you are interested then please get in contact with me. Thanks a lot,

Were currently trying to borrow a closed trailer for the week but dont have anything definate yet. I have a few instructors from my home club who might come down and help us out for a bit and one or two from 4cs have said they might be able to help out a day or two but if anyone else is able to help out at all with a bit of instructing then please get in touch. Many thanks. Sam.

Colin has kindly agreed to let us bring the K18 down to Bicester for the inter unis between the Monday and the Friday. Can anyone tell me if the K18's trailer is already in a roadworthy condition and if not, what needs to be done to make it roadworthy?

Conor - ask the Trailer member. It's Bill Veitch.
