Well I got there in 438 hours of driving and 1400 miles with no mishaps, except for a puncture on the car 80 miles short of the factory, and biend stopped by the Polish Plod, they wanted to know what was in the trailer and wanted me to take it out so they could check to make sure I was not smuggling anything, they soon changed thier mind when I told them they would have to help me get the wings out :-).

It was bizare driving onto an airfield in the middle of nowhere and I MEAN NOWHere to see 8 An2s and a load of Yak 50 and 52's lined up... felt like I had travelled back to the 1950's... So all I have to do now is wait for the thing to be done and then repeat the journey.

Thanks to Al and all the guys who helped me de-rig

Get a tow back behind one of the AN-2's...then again, it would probably take as many hours.
