Ground Radios

Postby Pete » Tue Jul 12, 2011 5:59 pm

Hi all,

A quick plea for people to keep their eyes peeled for a missing ground radio! On Sunday I went to grab the radios so we had winch-launchpoint comms, and found only two of the total four radios on charge in the parachute room. During the day, a third turned up, I'm not sure where from, but as of the evening, I don't believe the fourth had re-appeared. It was not to be found in the winch, vehicles or control wagon.
If you see it, or happen to have accidentally driven off with it, please return it to the charging points in the 'chute room. These radios were kindly donated by Mr Paul Mason MBE, and are a far sight better than any we've previously had, so it would be nice to keep a full set!

Cheers,

Pete

These radios have NOT been donated but are on long term LOAN to the club.

Please look after them as they are very expensive to replace.

Thank you

Baldrick.....

Sorry Baldrick, made a bit of an assumption there.

Even more reason to look after these radios then. As far as I know, we currently have all four in place, so lets hope we can keep it that way!
