Flying week at Easter

Postby ColinD » Tue Nov 02, 2010 7:34 am

Just had a thought..... Being as Easter and the May bank holiday are on back to back weekends next year, is anyone interested in having a flying week at Wittering as the airfield "should" be available to us. There could be 11 days flying for only 4 days holiday. I know this is the same time that the Uni are going to Portmoak, but this is just a thought........anyone interested or have any thoughts of their own

Have spoken to Mandy and the airfield is ours for the week (notwihstanding the Air Force finding a use for it), so if anyone else is up for it , I will organise. The Portmoak adventure returns on Easter Saturday, so the Discus and other K21 will be back. I will also see if any of the local clubs are interested

As the wedding of Will and Kate has been anounced for 29th April, you now can have 11 days flying for only 3 days holiday...... Come along, you know it makes sense

I'm up for it, I may even bring along an ASG29. Its a pity the goat fancier will be up in Jockland he could have given me a race in 'HIS' ASW20 :-)

He might not be going now, but anyway if he did, he will be back on the Saturday and then he will give you a run for your money - if not him, me :D
